Guidelines before using Doxazosin

The patient should be kept in supine position and should be administered normal saline to treat transient hypotension. It is not advisable to consume the Doxazosin during pregnancy. Doxazosin should not be used in nursing mothers and in pediatric patients. The patient should be advised to avoid activities that require alertness and concentration as Doxazosin causes dizziness.
