The concomitant administration of Omeprazole and warfarin can lead to increase in prothrombin time and bleeding disorders. Omagen medicine should not be administered with antiretroviral drugs as it can cause development of drug resistance. The long-term use of Omagen can cause atropic gastritis. Omagen can be combined with amoxicillin and clarithromycin. The patient is advised to take Omeprazole along with antacids. The dose of Omagen need not be adjusted in elderly and in patients with renal impairment. Omeprazole is not recommended in infants below the age of 1. It is not advisable to consume the Omeprazole during pregnancy and lactation.
