Seroquel is contraindicated in patients with cardiovascular disease. Seroquel medicine should not be prescribed to pregnant women and nursing mothers as it can pass in to breast milk.

The recommended starting dosage of Seroquel for depression is 50mg once daily at bedtime and this dose is increased to 300mg by fourth day in increments of 50mg.
