The use of Tetracycline in pregnancy, infancy and children below 8 years can cause yellow permanent discoloration of teeth. Sumycin should not be used in pregnancy as it can cause fetal damage. The concomitant use of Tetracycline and methylflurane can cause fetal renal toxicity.
